Enquiries and Contact

When you contact us through the website contact form, by email, or via social media, we collect your name, your email address, and any information you choose to include in your message, which may include your experience level, course preferences, or fitness details.

Booking

When you submit a booking enquiry through our booking form, we collect your name and email address, your preferred dates and course type, and any relevant experience or health information you provide voluntarily. Booking forms are hosted by Google LLC. By submitting a booking form you are also subject to Google’s privacy policy, available at policies.google.com.

Payments

Where payment is taken in connection with a booking, we use Stripe for payment processing. We do not store your card details. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/gb/privacy.

Website Usage

Like most websites, this site may collect limited technical data automatically when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited and time spent on the site, and referring website. This data is collected through cookies and analytics tools (see Section 7 below).

Social Media

If you contact us or interact with us through Instagram or Facebook, we may receive information in accordance with those platforms’ own privacy policies.

  • Contract — where processing is necessary to fulfil a booking or to take steps before entering into a booking with you.

  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain certain records for health, safety, or tax purposes.

  • Enquiry and contact records: up to 12 months from the date of last contact, unless a booking follows.
  • Booking and participant records: up to 7 years, in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements and our obligations as an AMI-registered guide.
  • Safety and incident records: as required by applicable health and safety legislation.

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with Google LLC, as the host of our booking form via Google Forms; Stripe, for payment processing where applicable; professional bodies or insurers, where required as part of our guiding activity (for example, in the event of an incident); and regulatory bodies or law enforcement, where we have a legal obligation to do so.

Where third parties process data on our behalf, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
